A bit about me
Where I Come From
I grew up in California where bold flavors, fresh produce, and busy kitchens shaped how I learned to cook. I spent two years in a culinary program during school and two years working as a chef at a golf course, where I learned how to cook fast, cook well, and cook for a crowd.
Life in Amsterdam
I moved to Amsterdam more than ten years ago (for love). I worked in tech for years and also ran a catering company that focused on healthy meals for tech startups and community events. Feeding people well has always been the thread that stayed constant.
Ayurveda and Nourishment
I studied for two years in the Ayurveda Bachelor program at Delight Yoga. That training changed the way I think about nourishment, balance, and energy. It made me care about how food feels, not only how it tastes. I still love cheese, spice, and comfort food. I just cook it through a lens that makes people feel good after they eat.
My Kitchen Philosophy
I cook the way real people live. Simple, comforting, nutrient-forward food that still hits cravings. Whole foods first. Big flavor always. Healthy without being restrictive. Comfort without guilt.
